01About the product
Picked ripe. Frozen fast.
Our strawberries grow on 350 feddans (≈ 147 ha) in 5 plots, yielding 20–25 tons per feddan. The fruit is picked by hand at peak ripeness into field crates, then sorted and graded by hand before freezing.
About 4,000 tons of first-grade strawberries are processed as IQF, so every berry stays separate and free-flowing. The rest of our strawberry production is blast-frozen and exported to countries such as Brazil, while second-grade fruit goes to the Egyptian market and to countries such as Sudan.
